Lenworth was founded in 2003 by industry veteran Ralph Cawker. By focusing on proper accreditation, training, and a solution-based approach, he was able to build a company based on a commitment to raising the bar in the industry – with an unrelenting commitment to quality. Fast forward to today, and Lenworth has long-term partnerships with many Fortune 500 companies across Canada, and Spencer Cawker continues to lead the company’s commitment to Doing It Right™.
2003
It started with an old Jimmy truck and a desire to do better for customers. Lenworth was founded in September 2003.
2007
The team and fleet continues to grow – including moving into a new 3,400 square foot unit, to expand our stocking levels and accommodate future growth.
2011
After graduating from University, Spencer Cawker joins the Lenworth team full-time.
2012
Preferred Service Program (PSP) is launched as an industry-first, with unique offerings such as a guaranteed 4-response time and exclusive parts discount.
2013
Electrical Services Division is launched, to allow for complete in-house turnkey installations with ESA Permit capabilities.
2014
Lenworth partners with Dynaco High Performance Doors, who are an industry-leading manufacturer of High Speed Doors.
2015
Lenworth rebrands and moves to a new headquarters to accommodate their current and future growth at 4141 Sladeview Crescent, Units #1-2. This more than doubles their space from 3,400 to 7,900 square feet. Installation Division is launched, to allow for a division that is solely dedicated to new product installations, with factory-trained technicians.
2017
Preferred Service Program (PSP) Division is launched, to allow for a division that is solely dedicated to completing Preventative Maintenance Inspections and Repairs.
2018
Lenworth partners with Pentalift Equipment Corporation, who are one of North America’s largest manufacturers of loading dock equipment and lift tables, based out of Guelph, ON. Lenworth is recognized as one of Canada’s Fastest 500 Growing Companies, with a 319% 5-year growth rate.
2020
Lenworth partners with Envira-North Systems Limited, who are an industry-leading manufacturer of High Volume Low Speed (HVLS) Fans, based out of Seaforth, ON. Lenworth is recognized as one of Canada’s Fastest 500 Growing Companies, with a 205% 5-year growth rate.
2021
Lenworth completes the construction of a showroom in Unit #3 to showcase our industry-leading products. Lenworth’s fleet grows to (25) service trucks, with over (35) service technicians – including Licensed Millwrights, Master Electricians and Canadian Welding Bureau certifications.
